Design02 Use Case ScenariosBertha (and Martha) - our primary personaearly thirties twins (think alike) Bertha wants to impress a dinner party so she is willing to invest the time into looking up recipes on the recipe site. She has hosted several dinner parties and so has sufficient cooking experience. She tends choose recipes based on picture appeal. Once she chooses a recipe, Bertha needs choose the appropriate side dishes to match the main dish. The complement of the dishes is very important to her. However, she wants to be considerate of her guests and considers her dish choices to accomodate their taste and their dietary needs. Bertha also wants an easy shopping list and an ability to gather all her recipes together. Marialate twenties Maria wants to create one dish to impress people at a potluck. She has sufficient cooking experience, but does not have that much time to cook it. So she goes to a recipe site to find a quick and easy dish. Ultimately, she wants people to say "That dish looks so hard" and she could reply, "Oh it was really easy!" Maria does not want to invest too much time in finding the appropriate ingredients and so wants to use the ingredients she has on hand. Mandilate thirties Mandi is cooking a home meal for her and husband. She is an excellent cook. She chooses 2-3 dishes based on her pickiness of food. Mandi wants to include variety in her meals during the week and so she usually likes choosing the favorite dish of the day. She uses the pictures in recipes to determine whether to use the recipe and whether the dish is quick and easy. She also determines the recipe based on ingredients she has on hand. Mandi often keeps a stack of recipes in her kitchen so she could refer back to a successful dish. |
